Margarita de Azar

Classic and Delicious Margarita

2 oz. Blanco Tequila
½ oz. Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
¼ oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

Combine tequila, Flor de Azar, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.

Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.



Margarita de Sandia
Fresh Watermelon Mezcal Margarita

1 ½ oz. Mezcal
½ oz. Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
1 ½ oz. Fresh Watermelon Juice
½ oz. Lime

Optional: Dash of spice!  We use Alma Tepec as a hint of spice, but you can make it spicer.

Combine tequila, Flor de Azar, watermelon and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.

Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.



La Picosita
Mexican Spritz

A light, tart, and just a bit spicy Mexican spritz made from two sister alcohols from the same distiller. This light on the palette combo of Xila Hibiscus Aperitif and Flor de Azar Citrus liqueur is complimented by Cava and club soda.


3 ½ oz. Cava
½ oz. Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
½ oz. Xila
1 oz. Club Soda

Fill wine glass with ice, then add Xila and Flor de Azar. Top with Cava and Soda in a ratio of your choosing! Give it a quick stir, then serve with an orange slide as a garnish.



Margarita de Jamaica

Hibiscus Margarita

1 ½ oz Blanco Tequila / Mezcal 
½ oz Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
2 oz Hibiscus Syrup

Combine hibiscus syrup, tequila, flor de azar, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.

Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.



Margarita Flora
Elderflower Margarita

A Hugo Spritz meets a margarita in this floral, springtime treat. Refined and elegant, this margarita is sure to impress.

2 oz blanco tequila
3/4 oz Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
1 oz elderflower liqueur
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup

Garnish: Edible flowers

Combine tequila, elderflower liqueur, Flor de Azar, simple syrup, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.



Sante-Margarita  

Cucumber-Lime Margarita

2 oz tequila
1 oz cucumber juice (blitz in a blender and strain)
3/4 oz Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/4 oz agave nectar

Garnish: Cucumber wheel and mint sprig
Combine tequila, Flor de Azar, cucumber juice, agave syrup, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.



Margarita Naranja

Orange-juice Margarita

A sweet, bright margarita that amplifies the zesty orange flavor of the Flor de Azar. This is a refreshing, summer margarita that pairs well with Cochinita Pibil, the famous citrusy pork dish from Yucatan.

2 oz tequila
1 oz Flor de Azar Citrus Liqueur
1 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz fresh orange juice
1/4 oz agave syrup

Garnish: Lime wedge and salt rim

Combine tequila, Flor de Azar, orange juice, agave syrup, and lime juice with ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake for ~20 seconds, until frosted on the outside.

Strain cocktail into a salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass and serve immediately.
